Chalco, Mexico, February 2023

This was our first trip to “Villa de Las Niñas,” an all-girls school. This is run by the Sisters of Mary, who are funded by World Villages for Children.

3,000 girls from ages 12-18 live here and attend school for 5 years, getting their high school diploma. The girls are rescued from abusive homes, poverty, and the sex slave trade. They live in a loving, caring environment where all of their needs are met. The girls are cheerful, kind, happy, hard-working, and well adjusted.

Our small group stayed at the school and provided care for 2,000 girls.
